9:00AM to 4:00PM Forget about hibernating this winter! Come join us for the "Legendary Bears" exhibit at the Centre for Conservation at Ball's Falls from January 23 to April 12, 2010. This 150 Teddy Bear exhibit, tracks some of our most well-known, and a few unusual, legendary bears as they transformed from the real wilderness to become Teddy Bears. So, "bear" the cold and visit to discover some unique bear facts. Special activities will be included on Family Day (Feb. 15), March Break (March 13-21), and Easter (April 2-5). Admission is $5.50 for adults; seniors and children - $4. For information, group reservations and education programs call 905-562-5235.

Soft Bear WorkshopCentre for Conservation at Ball's Falls Conservation Area: View Map

9:30AM to 12:00PM Join Needle Artisan Nancy Kinsman as she assists you in creating your own polar bear.
Adult and child cost: $18.00 (ages 10-17, each makes a bear) Adult only $12.00 (18 & up)
Each participant will receive a kit with all supplies to make a bear.
Must be able to bring & use scissors & thread needles. Manual dexterity and patience required. This is a fairly simple project.
Includes day admission to Ball's Falls, Legendary Bears exhibit & refreshment.
